Our ethos

Nothing Without Meaning

No matter how many evolutions we experience as a brand, the one thing that remains front and centre to us is the desire to make things that encapsulate what it is to live and be loved. Nothing without meaning, it's just better that way.

Introducing

The Process

Each bespoke piece is made to order. Our leadtimes are long because from start to finish, our rings and bangles are completed in house by our founder Kelly, using local Hatton Garden artisans to complete any external elements like the plating, engraving and hallmarking.

STAGE 1

Ring sizing

The first step is to measure your finger so you can let us know what size you need. As each ring is hand made to order, we can do half sizes too. We recommend using one of the Adjustable Ring Sizers available in the shop.

STAGE 2

Casting + Cleaning Up

Once you have chosen your style and ring size, we can get the casting process underway. We create each piece using the ancient lost wax technique. All our molds are made in London's jewellery quarter Hatton Garden. Once we have your casting back, we begin the cleaning up stages using a selection of hand tools and files, resize if needed and buff the surface of the metal until polished.

STAGE 3

Hallmarking, Plating + Engraving

Once your ring is ready to find you, we drop it off at The Assay Office to be hallmarked. They stamp your piece with our maker's mark and to show the metal is of the required purity. If you are going for a gold plated silver it is from here we go to the platers, and/or to our master engraver for your custom lettering. Once each and every process is complete we do a final polish to finish it's journey with us and begin the one to you.
